I have been contributing to various Yahoo groups since 2004, then i decided that i should form a mailing list or e-group of my own… This was how SmellTheCheese@GoogleGroups was born…
“Who Moved my cheese” is a classic book by Dr Spencer Johnson . In the book he uses the cheese as a metaphor for anything that you want to hold on to or anything that you value a lot. He also explains this concept of anticipating change by smelling the cheese the cheese very often . He sums up it nicely with ..
“Smell The Cheese Often So You Know When It Is Getting Old”.
Based on the above concept of keeping a tab on things that you value or want to hold on to , i decided name the google group as “SmelltheCheese” . After the phenomenal success of SmellTheCheese@googlegroups.com i decided to launch the weblog format of my postings on SmellTheCheeseblog.com … This was to adress people who would like to access the posts on a website instead of mailing list.
So what do we do in the group ? Here will use the technical analysis as a tool to test the stocks (smell) and see whether there are any changes occuring in them and decide whether we need to hold on to the stock or discard them and also look at some new cheese varities.
So the groups focus is to faciliate exchange of recommendations of stock recommendations based on technical analysis . The group is highly focussed on studying the art of identifying trading opportunities based on technical analysis. In addition we also encourage people to share views or documents to learn technical analysis …
